Contrast is the focus of Flash of Red for the next few days. First up- the glass in the front window and how the red glass contrasts with the clear glass pieces. The two mid-tone pieces are yellow. It's always interesting how colors translate to black and white.
I'm switching up the February words a bit and using this as my picture for the word "contrast".
@joansmor They were hiding behind the blinds in the Living Room. In my former home you could see them so nicely and they would throw pretty colors on the wall when the sun came through. But that window looked out on a field. If I leave the blinds open on this one, I get the view of the back of Jeff's van! So if I want to take pictures of them I wait until he's at work- haha!
@ruthmouch I think that has to do with the shallow depth of field which is achieved by focusing only on the glass. I'm glad it's blurred too- because the view out the front window isn't the greatest!
