Mist on the Pond

There is a very pretty pond just on the outskirts of my community. It always looks so attractive when there is a mist rising off the water but I'm usually pressed for time and can't pull over to take a picture. But today was different! I was on my way home and in no rush so when I saw the mist I pulled over. I wish I had my T3i with me, but if I'd gone home to get it, there would be no guarantee of the mist being there when I got back so it was a few quick shots with the new point and shoot. It's been raining and gray all day so converting to black and white helped alleviate that blah-colored sky. All in all I'm pleased with the shot and now I have a mist shot.
