Snowman 2

Skyman
Jason Williamson

Our photo club hit the streets of Stroudsburg, PA this past Saturday to track down the assorted snowmen which have been installed at part of an art cooperative. They are all different and pop up in several places all over the town. Unfortunately (but only for photography) their environments are somewhat cluttered or unattractive, so you'll be seeing my processing skills coming in to play as I dress up them up a bit. I thought since this fellow was entitled "Skyman" he should be moving across the sky- hence my simple attempt at motion blur.

Thank you my friends! I'm glad you're enjoying the snowmen because there's many more to come!

@shutterbug49 They are about the size of the average man- 6 feet tall and the circumference of the bottom ball is probably 3-4 feet. I'm not good with measurements but I think that's about right.

Thanks again for your views, comments and favs!

@olivetreeann perfect. I just needed an about.

I like this one. now to find nbr one
December 19th, 2019
@shutterbug49 I found a newspaper article which was more precise- they are 68" tall, the bottom snowball is 32" wide and they are made out of recyclable polystyrene.

@bruni Thank you Bruni! It should be on the previous day of this shot. If you click on the arrow on the left of this picture it should take you there.

@cjphoto Thank you Chris! It was tricky- took me a few tries to get it just right.
