Our photo club hit the streets of Stroudsburg, PA this past Saturday to track down the assorted snowmen which have been installed at part of an art cooperative. They are all different and pop up in several places all over the town. Unfortunately (but only for photography) their environments are somewhat cluttered or unattractive, so you'll be seeing my processing skills coming in to play as I dress up them up a bit.
This fellow was in a nice setting (one of Stroudsburg's historic homes) so I was able to give you an idea of how they look free-standing. I loved this fellow's lantern although I have no idea what the ball in his other hand means or represents!
Great colors. could be ball represent the world. as for the hat. although it looks like a duck, I think more like a baseball hat and, maybe, the ball, although a bit big, could represent a baseball.
@bruni Thank you Bruni! I wish the website had them listed with descriptions by the artist. It would be interesting to learn about what their ideas were when composing their snowman.
@cjphoto Thanks Chris- actually the one I would be "friends" with is holding a tray of goodies- but I didn't find her this time around! Maybe that was a good thing!

@shutterbug49 Hahaha- I think it's supposed to be a hat of some sort- baseball cap? But you're right- it looks like a duck!
