My favorite quote (well one of them!) comes from the Bible- the Gospel of Luke, chapter 12, verses 27 and 28 (which I've abbreviated a bit here). It's always grounded me and helped me to realize I have everything I need when Madison Avenue tries to tell me otherwise.
