This is not really what I had in mind when I thought about one of my favorite childhood stories. Good Night Moon was written and illustrated by Margaret Wise Brown. It's a sweet little poem about the bed-time routine of a little bunny who says good night to all the things in his room as the sun goes down and the moon comes up. In each picture the light grows dim and dimmer and a little mouse can be found in different places about the room. I used to love looking for the mouse! So here I am (minus mom )o: ) reading in bed with the moon above. Do you see my little mouse reading along?
The Composite Challenge is up and running and the theme this time is "Tell Me a Story". You can read more about it here:
This is absoulutely precious. Can't see the mouse on my computer screen will check with the ipad in a few! Found it! It’s the one your granddaughter made for you! How cute
Aww, that is so sweet! I still love reading children's stories - they have a freshness and life about them. My son is 19 now, so I just keep in practice for the day when grandchildren come my way LOL!!
@milaniet It's a classic that I enjoyed reading to my sons as well. Sadly we did not live close enough to our grandchildren for me to carry on the tradition with them- but I would have if I could have! That's wonderful that you do.
Thank you Milanie, Bill, Katy, Dorre, Diana, Lynda, Frances, Kathy, Joan, Dione, Bruni and Casablanca!
Thanks so much for your kind comments and favs! I'm in sort of a nostalgic mode these days- so this was a nice trip down memory lane.
@casablanca They will come sooner than you think!
