Today's word was "rules". Rules sometimes loom over us and seem constraining. It's hard to accept they are there for our own good- especially when we are children. So my thought was to get that feel in the way I processed the word rules from our sign at the pool. Rules come up in the Phantom Tollbooth too.
Along with the mysterious tollbooth, Milo receives an assortment of additional supplies: precautionary signs, coins for the tollbooth, a road map and a book of rules and regulations. It all seems rather strange to Milo. He's not sure whether to play "the game" or not. But eventually he decides it would be better to play than to sit around and be bored all afternoon. While on his adventure, Milo learns that some rules are helpful and that they can even prevent disasters if they are followed correctly.
Well, rules can be tedious and tiring . . on the other hand they do make life more orderly! At any rate, we do have to live with them. Your photo is great . . love the processing, Ann!!

I'd taken this one in the morning "just in case" and was glad that I had done that! @nicolecampbell Thanks Nicole! On to the next picture today! @prttblues Thanks Bev!
