Well, it seems the final wildcard word for December's challenge is an appropriate word for me today. It's the debut of my 365th photo in my main album! So here I am celebrating the end of my first year on 365. I'm very thankful to my friend Sharon who introduced me to this site 12 months ago and although her project has been side-tracked with some happy family events, mine has kept going and helped me make it through a year of personal ups and downs. Of course the best part of this celebration is thinking about all the fantastic new friends I've made on this site and that means YOU!! So no wonder I'm smiling through ANOTHER selfie! Don't worry, this is not becoming a habit- but it was worth the 50 or so shots to say thanks to those who so faithfully comment on my pictures and make me feel good about my quirky way of looking at the world through my camera lens. Thanks to all of you, my world has expanded, my creativity has increased, my skill has improved, and my self esteem has grown. YOU are awesome!
Well the same back at you. It has been a fun journey, and it is something special to be able to connect with so many people from all over the globe, and to never have met. That in itself is quite amazing.
@digitalrn Thank you Rick! You have been one of my followers from really early on. You've been such an inspiration to me! I'd see your lovely shots from riding to and fro and was encouraged by them to get out and explore my own little neck of the woods. I'm glad you stuck around after you finished your first year. And now as I head into year #2, I'll look forward to seeing more of your shots and sharing mine too! Thanks again for all your encourgaing words through 2011!!
