My outdoor thermometer likes to lie when the sun is hitting it. This was not really the temperature today. In reality we were just about freezing. It was cold!! Now, I know it was not as cold as the temperatures some of you are experiencing in the northern most states, but it was cold enough to be worthy of a picture for this treasure hunt word! I added a little frost to the picture for emphasis. But just to keep us on our toes, the weatherman is saying it will be up to 50 degrees on Monday.
Nice one Ann. It dropped to the low 20's here, and we ended up with about 5 inches of snow. Now today it is going to give us a bit of freezxing rain as it warms up a bit.
@nicolecampbell Thank you Nicole- the nice thing about this is that it's outside and I am taking the picture inside- near my toasty warm wood stove! @steeler Am I understanding this correctly Howard- you're in summer right? Enjoy the warmth for me! @woot Thanks Davide! The weather seems to be strange all over the world. Crazy, crazy! I guess we'll just have to keep our winter coats and spring jackets handy all year! @inertie Thank you Inertia! Stay dry! @dmariewms Thanks Marie- it was a little thing I picked up in the supermarket once, but it's really never been 100% reliable. @kerristephens Thanks Kerri! @digitalrn Thanks Rick- it was colder today-and we did receive about 5 inches of snow as well. It looks quite pretty but on Monday it's going to turn into a soggy mess if the temperature rises as much as they say it will. Until then, I'll enjoy the pretty view from my back deck. @sarasdadandmom Thanks Terry. You have excellent taste in thermometers. @cimes1 Thanks Carole! You will have to enjoy those wonderful temperatures on my behalf. 80 sounds wonderful! @potsbypam Thank you Pam! @mrssmith Thanks Carla- it's supposed to go to 50 on Monday. What a crazy winter for weather.
Thanks to all of you for your faithful comments. I had some writing to catch up on today and now that it's out of the way I can start seriously catching up with 365. I can't tell you how much I appreciate your sticking by me!
@prttblues Thanks Bev- oh I know it's not that cold. Of course the temperature dropped to 20 degrees the next day which would have made a better shot, but I'd already posted this one. C'est la vie!
