This was a happy accident. I'd been test shooting some candles yesterday for a project I'm working on for my church and hadn't reset the exposure which resulted in this shot being over-exposed. But I really like it! The yellow really jumps off the page and since this is the second day in a row of heavy rain and overcast skies, a bright pop of yellow is a welcome sight.
@henrir You're right Henri- sometimes the mistakes can make a shot even better-as was the case for this shot. I did take one with proper setting, but it wasn't half as interesting. @kerristephens Thank you Kerri! @filsie65 Thank you Phil! Yellow and blue will always look good to gather because they are opposite one another on the color wheel. It's one of my favorite combinations too. @ruthmouch Thank you Ruth!
