Took another stab at the Mundane Challenge. Shot in black and white in the sink and added a water texture for fun, played with the adjustable threshhold and put it in overlay which brought out the blue tint from the texture, added some film grain to play up the noise, ran it through vibrance to bump up the blue a notch, added a frame and now this old toothbrush doesn't look so mundane anymore. Isn't processing fun?!
It almost looks "frozen" in ice to me ... a beautiful capture of the mundane. There are so many mundane objects in our life that we use every single day.
do you know that there's a challenge going on here sometimes about five-step processing? i reckon you should definitely put in an entry the next time it happens, you're going to win it hands down. i'm having vertigo trying to understand what happened to the poor toothbrush! :-)

Thank you all so much for the enthusiastic response. This was another fun one to play around with. When the brush was in the sink with the water coming out of the tap, it was boring but thanks to all the processing, it certainly has pizzaz! Thanks again for all the compliments and back patting! @summerfield I did do that challenge once or twice awhile back. It was fun. I think I'd have a hard time stopping at 5 now! So at this point, I just want to finish out Either Or October! Then I'll be doing Bulldog's November list.
