The beginning effects of Sandy are rolling in. It's breezy and rainy and we've had two power blips so far. But if that's all we have to deal with over the next two days, that's fine! We decided I should stay home )o: I really wanted to go see my grandson. But the old adage "Better safe than sorry" won over in the reasoning department. So to humor myself I wandered around the backyard taking shots to remember the "Big Storm" by. This year we've had a bumper crop of BIG leaves too. Hope all is safe and well where you are too.
@kandernob Thanks Karen! I had the hardest time getting one of the processing sites to take more than one picture. I guess Hurricane Sandy is messing with uploading!
Gorgeous collage, Ann - we've had such a beautiful colors this year! This will be a nice memory for you after Sandy passes through - we're due to get walloped in a couple of hours.

Very lovely collage. Sorry to hear reasoning didn't win in the end. Sigh! Glad you and yours are safe and sound. Making wonderful photos. I really like the little leaf on the big one. :-) Makes me think of parent and child. :-) I guess I see things in a new light being a Gramme' lol :-)
@vposey Thanks Vickie- although it was placed there to show just how big the big one really was, it definitely can look like a parent/child relationship too. Oh yes, being a grandparent changes your view about quite a few things!
