Artist's Challenge Edward Weston

If Edward Weston came to the Poconos to do some architectural shots this is what he'd see.

We have a timeshare that we bought into in Drums, and I remember most housing does look like this

@digitalrn Thanks Rick! Our community actually has it in the by-laws for certain colors which are allowed and which aren't. The cluster of homes around us is all natural wood stained, so it's quite nice.

@olivetreeann Just curious, how close are you to Drums, Pa
February 24th, 2013
@digitalrn It looks like we are a little over an hour east of Drums on Rt. 80 East (58.24 miles to East Stroudsburg according to Mapquest). It looks like Drums is just past where I-80 and I-81 intersect.

Thank you Dione, Carla, Carole (will do that), Henri, and Bev! This is our neighbor's home and that's the reflection of our house in their windows.

@olivetreeann I know when we go up there, its been a while, but we go up 81, then 80 East till the turn off, not far, and it's right down the road.

Beautiful reflections!

An interesting collection of shapes in this building.

@chrismarfil Thanks Chris!
@automaticslim Thank you Andy! This is fairly typical for the architecture around here. Most of the homes had humble beginnings as vacation or sporting homes but as the population grew and demands for homes grew, many were converted to year-round residences. So most of them have a cabin or vacation home style wood siding and lots of windows.
