@digitalrn Thanks Rick! Our community actually has it in the by-laws for certain colors which are allowed and which aren't. The cluster of homes around us is all natural wood stained, so it's quite nice.
@digitalrn It looks like we are a little over an hour east of Drums on Rt. 80 East (58.24 miles to East Stroudsburg according to Mapquest). It looks like Drums is just past where I-80 and I-81 intersect.

Most of the homes had humble beginnings as vacation or sporting homes but as the population grew and demands for homes grew, many were converted to year-round residences. So most of them have a cabin or vacation home style wood siding and lots of windows.
