I took this shot mid-morning, which means the sun was not at its zenith yet and more warmth was on the way. Tomorrow it's supposed to reach 70 degrees! Mind you, I'm NOT complaining, but, it is November, right?
I happily took the 62 degrees today -- tomorrow is supposed to be even warmer, but then the cold is coming back, and most likely snow with it for Thanksgiving. Come on Spring!!
If this was in Finland then I´d say we were in sauna and having almost ideal warm....maybe 74 C would be best :) But I have the feeling we are not in sauna here ;) It´s a beautiful termometer

Today's thermometer shot would have shown the pointer resting on 70 degrees. I wore a T-shirt! But this enjoyment will be short-lived as snow is predicted for Wednesday. I keep hoping this will be one time when the weatherman hits his 50% error factor in the wrong.
Great shot. I wish it was that warm here. We had a warm up over the weekend. It got as high as 58 degrees (some people said low 60s). Now, it is back down to the low 40s for high temperatures.
you know, if we pretend not to notice it, it just might continue being warm. :-) until march. hahaha! good luck with that. that's a really old thermometer!
@daisymiller Thank you Daisy! We're back to more typical weather today- still on the "warm" side, but tonight it has gone back to being seasonal and there is talk about snow tomorrow. As for the thermometer, it's not that old- probably about 9/10 years. I bought shortly after we moved here. It doesn't really work that great, but I like the flowers so I haven't gotten rid of it!
Everyone talks about the weather. when I read What"s wrong with this picture, I concentrated on the thermometer and looked at the numbers. noticed that 100 and 120 figures are the wrong way around, the same with the -40 on the other side. never saw that before on any of them.
