My Version of a Blood Moon by olivetreeann

My Version of a Blood Moon

I was so proud of myself. I set the alarm for an early hour so I could get up and photograph the Blood Moon but was greeted by a cloud cover too thick to see through. That was disappointing but there's still one to go in the Fall so hopefully the weather will cooperate then. In the meantime, the Full Moon was shining in all its glory on Easter night, so I grabbed a shot of it instead and gave it a little red in post-processing.
Cool shot

Brilliant idea! Fantastic processing! I tried to view it too but it was really cloudy, and snowy here.

Thank you Lee-Ann, Phoebe, Henri, Keren, Frank, Tammy, Taffy, Sally, Joan, and Pam!

And thank you for your favs too!

@kerenmcsweeney I did get up early- but no photos. It was too cloudy and not worth shooting. This shot I took a day later and at night. The red tint was added in post processing.

@lindagene Thanks Linda! I would have loved to see the real thing, but this application was a nice stand-in!
