The Good Earth by olivetreeann

The Good Earth

This was taken at the Apple Ridge Farm in Saylorsburg, PA. Besides the organic farming they do, Apple Ridge also has a brick oven bakery. It was all I could do not to pick one of these loaves up and take a bite! I believe these were Sesame Semolina but don't quote me on that!

Now you may be wondering why a picture of bread is named "The Good Earth". You can find out why here (if you're so inclined to pop over to my website):

Thanks to one and all! Although these went to the market, there was another loaf which was used for our sandwiches.
