What a glorious day to be at the Farmer's Market! The temperature was perfect, the sky blue and filled with puffy white clouds, and every table offered up delicious scents of fresh flowers and tasty home-grown goodness. Our club made a lot of new friends and hopefully some of them will be joining us as members. We all took turns wandering around the market, taking pictures and shopping for goodies!
Here are some shots from one of my walks around the market.
Top L to R: A sweet canine friend we watched while his owner took a short coffee break, beautiful fall gourds, corn on the cob, and hand-spun yarn and a fleece from the Aspen Ridge Farm.
Right center: Bright red radishes and a Gerber Daisy (I think- I know more wildflowers than cultivated ones!)
Left center: Aromatic Basil and bright Red Bell Peppers
Center- a view of the market from our photo stand
Bottom L to R: A feathery yellow mum, rich green kale, another bright Gerber Daisy and leafy parsley.
And just in case you're interested (!) I bought, some raw milk, one large zucchini, two Red Bell Peppers, a bunch of beets, a quart of green beans that were purple but turned green when you cooked them!!, and a loaf of Artisan bread (Country French).
It sounds like a wonderful market. It's so nice to be able to buy such fresh veggies. Love your representation of the market, cool idea to make a collage.
What a great collage to show your collection of shots and bought goods. Love how you have cropped everything to show them. Have viewed your yellow September and amazed at how many yellows you have produced. Lots of creative ideas.
