The day had been mostly drizzly and gray but in the late afternoon just as it was time for the sun to descend below the horizon, the clouds drifted away and the sun came out to say good-bye. It was balmy and nice enough to put some sweaters on and go outside for a quick romp around the yard. Betsy stayed inside to get dinner on. The "boys" (son, grandsons and Gampy) amused themselves with a running and chasing game. Grammy couldn't help but notice lots of things to photograph, so she wandered around the yard with her camera.
a stunning shot, ann. i would happily have it on my wall. somehow just has the feel of late afternoon sunshine after rain. great composition and lovely bokeh. and i so enjoyed your narrative of easy, relaxed family times together :)
