Hurricane Andrew was the most destructive Atlantic Hurricane. It hit the Bahamas on August 23, 1992 as a category 5 storm and left 1700 people homeless, 4 dead and life in general in turmoil. It struck Florida the next day and left even more damage. After Florida it continued on through Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia, and Mississippi accumulating 26.5 BILLION dollars in damage and leaving 65 people dead.

@wendyfrost Thank you Wendy! As I mentioned to Connie, I've used a number of sculptures from this place for my album covers! The minute I got this quote I thought of this one and knew it would be a good match.
I published two books of poetry, but allmost nobody it know. Before war (1991-1995) was good time for poetry, but now isn't.. I like this unusual statue, high above ground.
