Our photo club met up at a place called the Electric Trolley Museum for a Shoot Out. This museum is part of a larger national park called "Steamtown" which has both trains and trolleys on display and in various forms of being restored. Two of us wandered around an old switching station taking shots for a while. This picture is part of an old caboose. I love the color!
Thank you so much for all your views, comments and favs. I must admit I really love this shot- it's probably my favorite of the day. It's been a challenge to push past the pain sometimes, but this shot is what I love- color, balance, interest and strong light. Thanks for putting it on the PP!
@olivetreeann So sorry to hear you're still in such pain Ann, hope you get some medical help soon. As for the image I think it's a very strong industrial image as well as being a sorta abstract in strong colours. Pardon my expression, I'm very ignorant about artists and artistic terms.
@golftragic Thank you Marnie- I will be having knee replacement surgery next Monday. I am both relieved and nervous. Needless to say I'm scrambling to get a lot of things in place beforehand because I'm not sure how mobile I'll be afterwards. But it's a relief knowing that some of this will finally be addressed and by the Fall I should be feeling much better!
