Found one! by onewing

Found one!

I have seen lots of autumn tree photos lately on 365. Unfortunately, we don't have many trees in our area which lose their leaves for winter. Today though we were out with our walking group and I spotted this tree. It is almost as rare as rocking horse droppings in our area, but I took a photo of its leaves. There were sprinklers on nearby too, but I managed not to get wet.
Well done for finding a suitable deciduous tree. Lovely colours.

@elaine55 Thanks Elaine. I love the different colours too.

@marie65 Thanks Marie. You have to go quite a few miles from here to see them usually. This close to the ocean they are very few and far between.

Such a beautiful capture, the colours are fabulous! I just love that simile, never heard it before - sounds Australian through and through! Fav

@rhos Thanks for the fav Ann. It is nice to see autumn leaves, but luckily because we don't get too many in our area we don't have to rake them up. I suppose the simile must be Australian. another one is 'as rare as hen's teeth'. Australian's do tend to be rather colourful.
