I saw these giant shoes outside a shop in Newcastle recently and it reminded me of the story which Billy Connolly told about the advert for a big slipper. It is one big slipper and you put two feet in it and watch television and keep your feet warm. He said he was going to buy a pair and leave them by the fireplace in case he got burgled and the burglar would think a giant lived there and run.
You could leave these shoes outside your front door and that would deter would be burglars I reckon.
What the shoes have to do with vinyl records I have no idea, but made me smile.
