Life Saver 2

Yesterday I posted a selective colouring version of this same photo. David preferred this colour version because he said he liked the colour of the reflection of the clouds in the water, which do you prefer.

I first saw the stillness, colour and reflection in the water in this shot - looks so inviting. They are both excellent shots, though i think i do like the colour more too. :)

I think I missed the cloud reflection in the b/w. My eye immediately went to it in the colour shot. I really liked the sc so I'm sticking with b/w

This is really nice too, but I think I prefer the b&w version.

As pretty as the sky and reflection are - they pull the eye out of the frame away from the main focus. so it's B&W to the rescue. The water and clouds would work if there was more of it in other paces in the composition

Yes, I agree, I like this one a little better because of the cloud reflection. I also like the red life preserver.
