This afternoon the replica HMB Endeavour sailed into Port Stephens. It has been in Newcastle for a few days and will be here in Nelson Bay until Friday I believe before returning to Sydney on a 5 day voyage.
I had hoped to get a photo of it sailing through The Heads, but unfortunately, due to a prior appointment I didn't get to Little Beach until almost 3.30 pm and by then it had just arrived in the bay.
I am posting a bit late tonight because we were in Nelson Bay until after sunset and have only just had chance to process my photos.
Another busy day tomorrow as we are going out with our walking group and then in the evening off for dinner at the Tavern again and the Trivia Night quiz.
I may not get much chance to catch up over the next few days because my daughter and the grandchildren are coming up for a few days on Friday, so will have a busy time for the next week.
