I haven't got much time at the moment for 365 because as you know my daughter and grandchildren are here. Also I haven't had time to process the photos I have taken today either, so for the next few days I will probably be putting in fillers.
This photo I took a couple of days ago when we went into Nelson Bay to see the Endeavour. I just love how the pelicans perch on the lights in the evening.
Thanks to everyone who have commented on my photos and I apologise for not being able to comment on your photos at the moment. I have had chance to have a look at some of them, but too busy to make any comments. Will catch up later in the week.
Lovely capture, though it has made me wonder about pelican poop and thinking it wouldn't be pleasant to be caught underneath at an inopportune time. :)
I love the clarity and simplicity of this. I too haven't had much time for commenting recently as we see James off to uni. Glad you're having a good time with your family though and we'll all catch up soon, I'm sure!
@kathiecb Thanks Kathie. You are right they don't want the pelicans landing on the panel, it is a solar panel for operating the lights on the breakwater. Don't want pelican poop on it do they.
@eyesmile Thanks for your lovely comments on my photos the last few days. I am flat out at the moment with Deb and the kids here so no time to reply individually on each photo. Will catch up when I can. I've just noticed that this got on the PP too.
Sorry for the group reply again and for not replying to your comments for the last couple of days, but pretty hectic here at the moment with the grandkids here. Two boys age 9 and 6 are great fun but such a busy time. Yesterday we went to the Celtic festival and they had a great time watching Vikings fighting and they both had a go at firing a crossbow. Archie has now decided he wants to be a Viking when he grows up.
Today we are going to Birubi to see if we can see any dolphins and whales and they are going to have a ride on a camel across the sand dunes.
