I am a bit late posting tonight because this afternoon we have been adding up the votes for the photos on our annual photo exhibition.
It has been such a grey day again today, so this morning I thought I needed a bit of sunshine and decided to have a play with the rainbow slinky again. This shot was taken with the camera lens inside the slinky. Quite pleased with the results.
Such a creative POV... love the rainbow effect and the good use of "found items" at night (a situation we have all confronted, often with less successful results). :)
You are all colour today Babs.....welcome here today....all is rather gloomy specially as we have had no lights all day! Counting votes sounds good...we're you allowed to enter?
@karlow75@happypat Thans to both of you. The vote counting went well, but it was quite a long job. Yes Pat I was able to enter, it was our annual photo club exhibition. We ask members of the public to vote for their favourite photos in each category and give them a slip of paper to mark down the number of their favourites There are 8 categories: Landscape, seascape, monochrome, altered reality/creative, flora, fauna, people and open. There were 5 of us totting up the scores, 4 with two categories each to tot up and 1 to do the calling. There were some excellent photos this year and the public really had a hard job to pick a favourite in each subject I should imagine.
I was lucky enough to get two 3rd place winners, one in the monochrome section and one in the altered reality/creative. So was quite happy with that, given the competition.
Thanks everyone for the comments and favs. I had fun with this one. I took a few shots so may post some more later. It is amazing how many different colours and patterns you get just by photographing the inside of a slinky.
