Bennetts Beach - Hawks Nest

Today we have been out with our walking group to Tea Gardens. We caught the ferry from Nelson Bay to Hawks Nest and then walked from Hawks Nest to Tea Gardens.

After having a delicious lunch at the pub in Tea Gardens, we then walked up to the Lollie Shoppe where I finished off the afternoon with a rum and raisin ice cream.

We caught the afternoon ferry back to Nelson Bay from Tea Gardens and we saw quite a few dolphins and lots of bird life along the way. All in all a delightful day.

@terryliv This is Bennetts Beach I think the caravan park is more on Jimmys Beach side, but pretty close.

@eyesmile Sh! Gena we try and keep some of our beaches a secret. It never really gets crowded here. It is only in the middle of summer when it gets busier.

Hawks Nest never really gets crowded. Only gets a little bit busy at weekends but generally it is a very sleepy village.
