Lighting the way

Yesterday and today it has poured with rain and is typical of Easter here in the Bay. Each year we get droves of visitors to the Bay for the holiday weekend and every year it pours with rain. You would think that they would have got the message by now wouldn't you.

Autumn has definitely arrived and I am wearing a fleecy top for the first time in months. Tonight we put the clocks back one hour for the start of winter time.

As I have stayed home all day, I haven't taken any photos, so I thought I would post this photo taken in Canberra when we were there last month.

I just loved the way this walkway was lit and I thought I would convert it to black and white to hopefully, give it a bit more of a dramatic effect.

suits the b&w nicely

@quietpurplehaze Thanks Hazel, the rain has gone today. We haven't had rain for weeks and over the first two days of Easter the heavens opened. It is autumn here though so we can't complain.
I got used to Christmas being in summer very quickly when we moved here 25 years ago, but Easter in Autumn still catches me out. ha ha.

We put our clocks back last night so winter is on its way.

Fantastic b&w shot. I did enjoy the hour sleep in this morning. Still doing some work even though I am on holidays. And yes, I am off to a new station when I get back. But I think I will be at this one for quite a while.

@karlow75 Thanks Kane. Hope you can stay at one station for a while. You move about more than we did when we were in the RAF. ha ha.
