After two days of rain here in the Bay the sun has finally decided to shine this afternoon. I have had a day at home though writing up my family history story for my sister.
I thought I would post a photo taken at the sand sculpture exhibition in Frankston, to wish everyone a Happy Easter.
The chap on the left is the person who created this sculpture and he says that he works 7 hours a day 6 days a week on them.
Kat @darthkitty and Sally @hermann I told you this picture didn't look any better when you saw the complete image. ha ha. Although the bucket is hiding some of the action.
@leestevo@mbmomentsintime@julzmaioro Thanks. I love going to the sand sculptures in Frankston. They are on every year from Christmas till Easter and a different theme each year.
This is amazing Babs. I don't know if I could spend so much time creating something so great and then let it be destroyed. Mind you I haven't got the talent anyway so who am I to express an opinion:-)
How very artist & fantastic ability to make models out of sand. Such patience & skill....thanks for showing us Babs. Good luck with the writing! Happy Easter!
Boy is he talented . It must be hard to spend so much time on these only to have become piles of sand again. Wonder if they take a picture of all their masterpieces .
And a Happy Easter to you too.
Happy Easter
