What a difference a day makes. Yesterday was a beautiful autumn day and the temperature was 29 degrees C (84 f) and today it is grey and 19 degrees (66 f).
I took this photo at the Heritage festival yesterday of David attempting to eat an ice cream before it melted. As you can see the ice cream was winning. It was not a good idea to eat an ice cream on a hot day. Good job he was standing up or it would have dripped all over his clothes too.
Have had a quiet day today because I wasn't feeling too good when I got up this morning. Feeling a bit better this evening though.
Lovely sharp focus and detail Babs, forecast for Lancashire today cloudy no rain and high of 13 degrees C tonight 3 degrees C its warming up nicely, lol:)
Hope you feel better today Babs!
No ice cream today, autumn is beginning to kick in, the temperature has only reached 16 degrees and it has bucketed down with rain all day.
I think next time David has an ice cream it would be a good idea for him to eat it sitting in a bath. He is so messy, worse than kids.
To be fair though, it was a hot day on Saturday and the ice cream was melting quicker than he could eat it.
He doesn't need more practice Kathie, he gets lots of practice eating ice cream. He just needs better co-ordination. ha ha.
