Friday People Day again and today I spotted this chap packing away his fishing gear at the breakwater. He had been gutting some of the fish he caught and the pelicans were waiting expectantly for some of the off cuts.
Oops! realized after I posted this that it isn't Friday after all. Will try again tomorrow for a people photo.
@annied I don't think there is any hope for either of us Annie. When I took this I thought this would be good for my Friday People photo and then because I was in a bit of a rush last night I posted it then instead of today. Been a busy week. I am having to sing Happy Birthday to remember what my name is at the moment ha ha.
@quietpurplehaze Thanks Hazel. It is probably because I am retired and this week has been very busy with things other than my usual routine. It doesn't take much to confuse me at the moment. I just need a few more hours in a day.
I have had such a busy week that I have lost track of days. When I took this photo I thought it would be good for my Friday shot and while that thought was in my head the days got mixed up too.
The pelicans here are so well behaved. Probably don't fight so much because they are always so well fed. I often wonder if they pinch the fish off the fishermen's lines before they have chance to reel it in. Yes Sally @salza they are much better behaved than the seagulls.
Babs, congrats on PP. It probably isn't much consolation (!) to you but I also sometimes have Fridays on Thursdays, or Saturdays on Fridays!!
