Friday people day and today's photos are a collage of photos I took a few days ago when we went up to Boat Harbour to do a spot of whale watching.
The top left shot is of David (on the left) and a friend of ours on the right.
There were quite a few whales travelling up the coast from Antarctica for their annual migration to give birth in warmer waters. They do the return trip around September time.
@annied I took these photos with my Lumix so nothing exciting. David and Trevor have the 'big guns' Can't compete with them. Can't carry the weight either. Buggers my neck.
I think the whales were about 70 or 80 metres away from the rocks.
Stunning collage Babs you lucky lucky person, we love to see then on our trips when possible, got some photos out at sea but never managed to capture the iconic tail out the water shot :)

We do occasionally go out on the whale watch boats, but just as good to see them from the land.
