I took this photo of the gum trees a while ago and I am not sure if they are ghost gums or just white gums, but the thought of ghost gums gave me the idea of putting a real ghost into the picture. It took a while though to find the right ghost. I found her at Tocal Homestead a couple of weeks ago when we went to the Peek into the Past open day.
I processed this picture just before I fractured my wrist, so here it is today.
Wrist update.
I missed the step at a friend's house on Sunday and dislocated and fractured my wrist. They manipulated everything back into place at the hospital and could have left it with just a cast on, but said that it would heal better if I had a plate and screws put in, so at the moment I have a back slab. They couldn't operate until the swelling went down so I now have to go to hospital on Friday for pre op appointment to see the anaesthetist and hopefully surgery on Saturday or Sunday.
Thank you all for your good wishes and your lovely comments on my last couple of photos.
Not able to reply much at the moment as I am reduced to typing with one hand.
I am coping quite well one handed at the moment though and can still manage to do most things..
Very creative Babs great image with just the right amount of ghosting aren't layers a great processing tool, the camera never lies but the photographer often does, lol, Fav:)
Great job on the processing Babs. Not so great on the wrist, but hopefully after it all gets set and heals, you will be back to typing up a storm. Best wishes for the weekend.
Cool, how creative and well done! Good luck with your wrist - I am sure you are in quite a bit of pain. Hope the surgery goes smoothly and you feel better quickly.
It is my left wrist Lois and I am mainly right handed so all good.
The only thing I have found difficult so far is opening the biscuit tin.
