Neighbours

After living in this house for 18 years we have had an empty block of land next door and now we are getting neighbours. You can see they have got as far as the steel frame so far. I will have to post a picture of the house when it is finished.

Still on the mend and will catch up when I can. Everything is so slow going at the moment.

I believe that a local couple bought the block of land and are building the house for their mother to live in. I think she lives quite local too at present. I saw them looking at the house a few days ago and she looks about my age so will be long retired.
There are only 12 houses on our street, a cul de sac, and our other neighbours are lovely.

That's looks close when you have not had neighbours for so long. However our neighbours are close to us but we never see them and rarely hear them either, glad you are on the mend Babs.
