Djagil Girranggu - Food for Life

In the grounds of the Adult Education Centre there is a native garden maintained by volunteers. This ISO container holds the tools used by the gardeners. The walls of the container have been painted by local Aboriginal school children.

The notice on the first of the photos here reads:

This garden is on Worimi Land under the care of local Warrimay people, who speak the Gathang language. The name Djagil Girranggu means "Food for life" Many local native food plants can be found in this garden.
