After a very dismal grey start to the day, with the clouds down to the tops of the trees, who would have thought that the day would have turned out as beautiful as this.
Absolutely beautiful this afternoon and more like a spring day rather than the middle of winter.
@stephanies I heard that you were having a bit of a heatwave. I think it reached 20 degrees C (68 f) here yesterday and today it is going to be about 23 degrees (73 f) I believe and then down to about 17 for a few days. So not too hot, but quite pleasant for winter. It goes down to about 12 or 13 degrees at night though, so quite chilly.
@golftragic Nothing like a walk along the beach Marnie regardless of the weather. We are off out for another walk later this afternoon. We have spent the morning chopping logs so need some relaxation.
@susiangelgirl Oh no that is awful. Hope they don't paint over all the other artworks in Newcastle too. I saw this street art a couple of weeks ago as we were leaving Newcastle, but didn't get chance to take a photo of it. Guess I won't now either.
@onewing Building up those biceps Babs? Silly, but we very rarely go to the beach despite only being a 10-minute drive to get there. The fact Maggie would have to on a lead is a big reason.
@golftragic Biceps don't get too overworked, we have a chain saw and a log splitter although David does split some of the smaller logs with an axe and I chop the kindling wood with an axe too.
We have a few beaches here that are doggy beaches and the dogs can roam free. All the owners have to do is take a plastic bag with them and collect their dogs doos and pop it in the bins at the end of the beach.
