Two Faces by onewing

Two Faces

Can you see the two faces? This is one of the exhibits at Newcastle Museum as part of science week.

Not the best picture in the world, but it wasn't easy to capture this image as the light wasn't the best and also the vase shape in the middle was rotating to make it look as though the two profile faces on either side were talking to each other.

This illusion is a variation on the classic ambiguous drawing called Rubin's Vase.

I am having trouble with Internet this evening. Don't know if it is my Internet connection that is slow or the 365 website. Will have to try again later to check out your photos.
This is certainly an interesting illusion. Must have been frustrating when you took this photo.

I think it's a good capture - remember something about this on a course I went on - but I'm not sure I now totally remember the point being made!!

Well captured, can't have been easy if it was rotating! It makes my eyes flick in and out, so I can see either a vase or the 2 faces.

Two eye crossing photos in one week. First my spoon reflection photo a couple of days ago and now this.
We had a great day at the museum and there were lots of exhibits that you could play with. Well you could when you got there before the hundreds of kids who were also wanting to play.
I love how your eyes flip between the profile faces and the vase in this shot.
