First Day of Spring

Sorry I haven't caught up with 365 much over the last couple of days, but yesterday I was on a bus trip for the day and today I have been out with the walking group.

David stayed at home because he hasn't been feeling too well and thought he just had a bad cold and cough. When I got back from the walk this afternoon he looked worse so I drove him to the doctors. After x rays and tests etc we have discovered that he has pneumonia. No wonder he didn't look too good. He has been given lots of antibiotics now so hopefully he should be feeling much better again soon.

What a difference a day makes, after a great start to Spring yesterday, today has been a very dreary wet day.
Thanks to everyone for your lovely well wishes for David's speedy recovery. He is feeling ever so slightly better today, but he doesn't make a very good patient. I am sure he will be on the mend when the medication takes effect.

We were supposed to be going to the theatre tomorrow in Newcastle with friends of ours, but have had to give our tickets to two other friends. I hope they all enjoy the play.
