Paddle Your Own Canoe

We have been out for lunch today at a friends house and only just got home, so no time for photos.

I took this photo a few evenings ago while walking along the breakwater at the marina.

It reminded me of the poem written by Sarah T Bolton in the 1860's

Voyager upon life's sea,
To yourself be true,
And where'er your lot may be
Paddle your own canoe.

Thanks so much for all your lovely comments and favs over the last few days and I apologise for my limited time for checking out 365. It has been a long week.

Today has been a lovely day though and just what the doctor ordered. Always nice to be able to relax and meet up with friends.
