I am posting early today because I am out this evening.
Each of these photos are on display at the War Memorial in Canberra and I decided to take a photo of them and put them all together in a collage to save for today, Anzac Day - Lest We Forget.
What a fitting image for ANZAC Day Babs, a beautiful collage your selection seems to cover from the first world war to Vietnam, "Lest we forget" looks great on black you can see all the detail:)
@stephanies Yes Stephanie it is the same as Remembrance Day 11 November, but Anzac Day was originally to honour the members of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) who fought at Gallipoli against the Ottoman Empire during World War I.
Poppies are significant but usually in a general form. We tend to wear rosemary on Anzac Day for remembrance and poppies on Remembrance Day.
