Thanks for all your lovely comments and well wishes for David. He is feeling much better today and can even remember now that Trumpty Dumpty is the President of the USA. ha ha. Yesterday he had trouble remembering anything and couldn't name our prime minister and even thought that Obama was still president of the USA. Although his memory is back, he still has a total blank about most of yesterday.
We have had a very lazy day after all the drama, so no photos today.
I was looking through old photos and saw this one. I posted a similar shot back in May but when I went through that folder today I noticed the dolphin in this photo. Can you spot him?
We were walking along the waterfront at high tide and spotted a school of dolphins feeding on mullet at sunset. I didn't think I actually captured a dolphin but on taking a second look I spotted this one.
Glad to hear David's memory is improving -- continue to have a quiet and restful day today ! A lovely capture of the dolphin in beautiful evening lights !
Beautiful image Babs like the light and patterned sky, my eyes were drawn to the dolphin straight off, you are a lucky lady to have these beautiful creatures on your doorstep,
Gorgeous shot - and glad your hubby is on the road to recovery, that must have been so scarey! The only bonus is that he had the joy of thinking Obama was still president!!
What a strange interlude Babs, you must watch him closely for a bit but the doctors must be happy to let him home so just a little warning to slow down perhaps! You could understand if he was working but you have such a lovely social life it's hard to stay home! Lovely evening shot plus dolphin!
I see him. But the shot is so worthy for the silhouetted boat alone and the sunset is wonderful. Glad things are a bit better, but you will still be concerned
Just catching up - sorry to hear about David's funny turn. Glad he us better today. Lovely shot though I had to look for the dolphin! I obviously need more practice at dolphin spotting!
@hermann@terryliv@golftragic Thanks. David was disappointed when he remembered that Trumpty Dumpty was president of the USA, enough to give him a relapse. Still don't know what caused it but we have had a rather stressful couple of months so maybe that had something to do with it.
@happypat It was indeed a strange episode. He wasn't stressed by it all though and he knew his name and his birthday. couldn't figure out what year it was and thought that Kevin Rudd was our prime minister. When I told him it was Malcolm Turnbull he said who's Malcolm Turnbull.
He forgot that we were doing our photography low light evening session that evening and didn't even remember that we actually did a photography course.
His memory has returned now, but he has lost parts of Monday.
We have had a couple of rather stressful things going on the last couple of months though so maybe that has contributed to it all.
@onewing indeed Babs, how weird, obviously something going on there that needs to be watched! He could have had one of those mini strokes, forgotten the name of them we gave a friend who regularly had them, have lost touch a bit now since we moved but they were scary but she is still alive & kicking to this day well in her eighties. I think she did lose a bit if her memory for a bit. Will google for you.
I was thinking TIA, but didn't want to pre empt anything. They do only last a few minutes, but the sufferer is usually left confused & sleepy afterwards.
the dark dolphin shape popped right out as i first laid eyes on this magnificent image.. i love all the silhouettes depicted here.. the colours, though muted in tone, are rather beautiful and quite striking..
So glad to know David is in recovery.. you take care of yourself as well as him.. :-)
@happypat@carole_sandford I am thinking TIA too but the CT scan didn't show any damage. He has now to have an MRI to see if that sheds any light on the matter.
I have had a couple of TIA's a few years ago but mine affected my balance and short term memory.
Wondering if it had anything to do with his DVT and the blood thinners. The hospital have told him to stop the aspirin which he was taking as well as the blood thinners.
Why is he taking both aspirin and blood thinners Babs, when I was on warfarin I was told to avoid aspirin totally because it thins as well. Glad David is better, but such a scary thing to happen. Oh sorry, very beautiful picture as well.

Good to hear your husband if better today.
Great David gets better now. Hope he soon recover completely.
David is bouncing back again now. Still don't know what actually caused his strange episode, but they reckon it wasn't a stroke or TIA, so will have to wait and see if the MRI sheds some light on the matter.
