Feeling Better Now

I haven't done any Friday people shots for a while again, so I thought I would post this photo of David.

As you can see he is looking and feeling much better now than he did a few days ago.

I am not so sure about the after effects of the contrast CT scan though. Maybe his medication needs changing.
This is stunning! A great shot Babs, a fav.

@leananiemand @dide @777margo @annied @beryl @pcoulson @yurugabell @julzmaioro @pusspup @leestevo @hermann @olenadole @chimfa @jorlam @jessikapanteleios @happysnaps Thanks. We have decided that growing old is inevitable, but growing up is optional. We had great fun playing with some LED finger lights from the $2 shop.
David looked less scary with the blue and red lights than he did with the green one. He thought the red and blue made him look quite distinguished

Blimey Teddy, Babs. What a ripper shot, never would've recognised David masquerading as a police car.

@gigiflower @cruiser I spoke too soon I think. David and some of his friends build a model railway on a Saturday and one of his pals picked him up this afternoon as he can't drive at the moment. While he was at his pals house he bent down to put some spanners away and dislocated his vertebrae. He has spondylolisthesis and his spine dislocates very easily. He is now unable to walk at the moment. I will be glad when this year is over.
posted August 19th, 2017
@onewing Oh Babs, how does David get this treated? Are you ok?
posted August 19th, 2017
@gigiflower It can't be treated just has to slip back in place on its own. You wouldn't get close to his back with a barge pole as it is so painful. He broke his back years ago during his RAF days and two of the little hooks that attach each vertebrae to the next are broken so that vertebrae just moves out sometimes.

I am okay, well sort of. I will email you.
posted August 19th, 2017
@onewing Goodness me, sounds bloody awful. Look forward to your email. Wish I could do more! xx

Oh no! what a terrible run you are both having. Sending you some hugs

Catching up at the end of a frantic fortnight. I feel for David. I had back problems in my early 20s, spending 3 weeks in traction...et alia. I wish him better ASAP and understand the sheer pain and discomfort. Bless you both.
