I just love the textures on this abandoned weatherboard house.
I think this is exactly how David and I have been feeling the last couple of months. We are both a bit battle-scarred. Hopefully things are looking up a bit now though. ha ha.
Thanks so much for your lovely comments on yesterday's shot.
I have been taking it easy today. I have a trapped nerve in my neck and it is agony.
Good job I'm not a horse, I would have been shot by now.
We all need a bit of rice especially when we've taken a battering by life. Hope things look up for you soon. I love this photo though - full of character.
As my dad would say - " a lick of paint will make it look as goo as new "!! maybe this building needs a little more !! Now with the Spring in the air I hope you bath will feel better !!
@happysnaps@sangwann@novab My neck is much better this evening. Had a heat pack on it and it has eased the pain. I think I have had a nerve trapped. I have spondylosis in my neck and it plays up every now and then.
Ouch ouch ouch, been there with that one! Glad it is easing off. I find those little stretches with your head half way between forward and your shoulder, kind of feels like a 45 degree position, looking down helpful. A physio taught me that one when I had a trapped nerve. It does help free it up.
I like the weatherboarding and it's always strangely appealing when it is tatty like this.
Has its own beauty. Sorry about the trapped nerve. I had a trapped nerve in my spine and could not sit down for months without being in severe pain. I feel for you
@casablanca Thanks Casablanca. Can't keep calling you that!
My neck is much better today. I have a good physio too and after various exercises and a heat pack on my neck yesterday I feel a new woman today.
