What a difference a day makes. Yesterday was a really sunny day and perfect for being out with our walking group, but today we have finally got some well needed rain.
It has been raining all day. Not exactly bucketing down, but at least we have had some steady rain all day.
The plants are probably enjoying it, but I don't think the spiders will be too happy. This web does look quite pretty though with tiny diamonds dotted along it.
I finally got the chance to take a water beaded spider web picture yesterday afternoon while on the school run, and guess what? I didn't have my camera with me - doh! Were just never seem to get webs like this π Anyway, this is lovely. Think I'll fav ππ
Excellent macro capture. Great detail. Glad you got some rain. We were told to expect rain today but it is sunny and dry. Wish it won't rain during this weekend.
How beautiful this is Babs and super to see that you have finally had some rain. We have had some respite from the mizzling rain, enough to mow the grass so I didn't lose the sausages and conquer two loads of washing but hark, is that light rain falling again as predicted :)
@hermann The garden is looking much fresher since the rain. We had some drizzle this morning, but the sun is shining again now. Luckily I did all my washing a couple of days before the rain, so I am up to date at the moment.
Terrific image, it reminds me of a story my mum made up about a fairy making a dress for a poor child . She asked the spiders to make this exact picture for diamonds to cover the silk dress that the silkworms made. Thanks for the memory! Big Fav.
