Open Plan Living

I have nearly been meeting myself coming back today, such a busy day. It has been a very hot day too with temperatures in the mid 30s C. (94F). Thank heaven for air con in my car.

I have photographed this cottage before and had to wander through long grass to get this photo. Glad I didn't come across any snakes, but I bet there are a few snakes and spiders inside this property.

Tomorrow I will post a photo of the outside dunny (toilet) that is next to this building.

Why the owners of this property keep this building on their land I don't know, because the actual house where the owners live is really nice.
Bit drafty!! Great shot

Certainly a challenge for someone... I am intrigued by the fencing method ... a little different than a kiwi fence..

A little tender care needed! Oh dear - but a good subject!

very open, good for the air flow!

They must have had some happy memories in living there , to keep the shack still on their land !!!!

What a brilliant find and so well captured in lovely detail, colour and light, now that's a little warm but you know what they say about mad dogs and English men/women:)

Must have some kind of sentimental value! Either that or they can't be bothered to pull it down!
December 14th, 2017
Probably cost them to demolish it. Great capture of this old house.

Do you ever have a day when you are not busy?

@julzmaioro I am not an expert on fencing so I don't know the difference between Aussie ones and Kiwi ones. You will have to post a photo of your fences and I can see the difference.

@pcoulson Thanks Peter. This mad dog didn't have a choice today, I just had so many things to do. I would have stayed home if I had a choice. It was difficult driving the car with one finger and one thumb until the air con kicked in.

@peterday Not often Peter. I think our next day when we have nothing on the calendar is the 21 December. Shh! don't tell anyone we want to keep it quiet.

Great find and a lovely shot. It may be because of the cost to demolish it that it's keeping the owners from cleaning up the area.
December 14th, 2017
Great find, sad to see it so rundown.....Oh, the stories hidden inside.
December 14th, 2017
Glad I'm not moving into this one :)
December 14th, 2017
Rather ramshackle isn't it :)
December 14th, 2017
Maybe they're hoping white ants will eat it :)
December 14th, 2017
It looks like it needs a lot of TLC maybe they intend doing it up again!!
December 14th, 2017
What a waste, this could be renovated and someone could lives in it.
Great capture.
December 14th, 2017
It's definitely in serious need of some TLC.

Great capture of this old cottage. @sangwann In our country you get three times a warning. Then the goverment do and send you the bill.
December 14th, 2017
Certainly could do with a bit of attention!
December 14th, 2017
I do think they could use a little repair on this one. Great shot.
December 14th, 2017
Haha, love your title!
December 14th, 2017
Needs a little tlc!
December 14th, 2017
Just keep it for photogs such as yourself. I'm amused that your temp is so opposite to ours. Stick a minus in front and that's what we awoke to this morning.
December 14th, 2017
Goodness me, where would you start? It was 42C at my place today!!
December 14th, 2017
Great capture!

Terrific capture of this decaying structure. So much to look at and presented in an interesting way.
