Another hot day again today and clear blue skies. Even walking on the beach in the afternoon it is still pretty warm.
I just loved the sunlight shimmering on the water. I thought I would post a few days of black and white photos because I haven't done monochrome for a while. It looks quite nice on black.
Sorry I have been a bit absent the last couple of days, we have had a busy weekend and today both David and I had medical appointments to get test results.
You have the glorious warm weather with the sun and shimmering water while we in the UK shiver in the cold and wintery weather ! A lovely b/w shot and composition ! fav
Hope your test results panned out okay for you both? I've just been referred to a specialist today for dental work. I shall be so relieved to get out of the pain!! This is a lovely shot that manages to be peaceful and active all at the same time.
I love the concentration of the fisherman and the child dancing behind. Such opposites. But both concentrating on their own worlds. I hope you medical results were good.
@casablanca Both David's and my tests results weren't as good as we expected, but we now have to see where we go from here. could be worse. Your dental work sounds painful both on the teeth and the pocket. Hope you are pain free soon.
@mandygravil I think the girl dancing was beginning to a bit bored. It was a hot day and she did wander off and leave her Dad fishing eventually. She went to play on the sand in the shade of the trees. Medical tests could have been better, but on the other hand could have been worse too. That's the way it goes.
I'm amazed at how good these beach scenes are in b&w, gives me all sorts of ideas. So sorry to hear the test results weren't too good. Fingers crossed for both of you. You've also reminded me that I have to ring the dermatologist today for some test results.
