Taffy has just told me that my Backlit Feather is on the TT. Thanks so much everyone for putting it there.
We have had a lovely day today. Cinema and then out for lunch. We saw Finding Your Feet, a fabulous movie, also recommended by Pat @happypat and Julia @julzmaioro well worth going to see.
I was standing on the breakwater when I spotted this rust bucket boat. It is always a surprise to see boats with a bit of character, because most of the boats in our area have prices attached to them that would make your eyes water.
I didn't notice the chap standing on the bowsprit until after I had taken this photo. There is also another chap inside the boat.
I think they must be here on holiday because I haven't seen this boat before. It needs a lick of paint but I do think it looks interesting.
My mum and sister saw that movie a few days ago and said it was very good. So many different shades of blue in your image, very nice. Congratulations on the TT.
I like this boat, too. It does show a lot of character with the rusty keel. Most of them are made of materials that don't rust so finding this is a prize in itself.
Well spotted -- cool to see the wear and tear the ocean caused for this boat. And the people on it give it such a great feel of a working vessel. And congrats again on TT! Such a nice addition to the weekend!
Tall & proud this old boat has had some work, she still looks good though! Glad you loved the film, I think us older girls appreciate the story! I might go again tomorrow as a friend wants to see it so I'm willing!
