We have been out for lunch again today, this time to a surprise birthday lunch for a friend of ours.
David and I took lots of photos and I may post a photo of the birthday boy tomorrow when I have put the pictures on the computer.
When I was clearing out some drawers a couple of weeks ago I came across these glow in the dark stars and planets and thought of this idea for a photo. First of all though I needed an astronaut to complete the picture and luckily a friend of mine said I could borrow one of her grandsons model astronauts.
I put the planets and stars on a piece of black card and attached the coloured string. Then I took a photo of the astronaut and put the two photos together in Photoshop. I am quite pleased with the result. It looks quite nice on black.
I will try and catch up later this evening with 365, but David has got some astronomy club friends coming here tonight to do a spot of stargazing.
I don't think they will come across a scene like this though.
fun how we can find things and turn them into other things,I like this shot! I have never learnt how to do anything in photoshop...prehaps that is my next thing to learn!
