It has been a long day today. First of all I had a medical appointment early this morning and then we were out with the walking group followed by lunch and later this afternoon visited John, a friend of ours, who is in palliative care in the final stages of brain cancer.
Sorry I have been limited with 365 this last week because we have visited John a few times plus lots of other things on the go here at the moment too.
While we were walking back to our car after lunch today I saw this boy looking at the boat. I am sure he would like one.
It has been such a lovely warm winters day today. Doesn't look like winter does it. I think the temperature was around 19 degrees C. A lovely day for a walk.
I need a cuppa now and I will try and catch up with 365 this evening.

Looks like the middle of summer and the sea is so inviting to jump in. I am saying this as I have just returned home from my daily morning swim in the open sea. Such a lovely view you have captured.

Unfortunately, he is asking for help to end his life and of course, we can't give him the help he needs. He says he isn't in pain though which is good. So sad to see him in this way. On Monday when we visited he said he wanted a bottle of Guinness so we snuck in a bottle yesterday and he really enjoyed the taste of it. All we can do is to try and cheer up his day in some small way at present.

Great shot- yes, you can see him thinking about where he'd sail with it. So sorry to hear about your friend. But that is so great that you can still spend time with him. I'm sure it is a great help to him just with the morale support. Hope all went well with your doctor's appt. too.

I don't mind chilly nights when the days are as warm as this though
