Layers of Newcastle

I really do need a few more hours in a day this week, my feet aren't touching the ground. Hopefully I should be able to have a quiet weekend and catch up with myself.

I took this photo from the ferry yesterday on our way across the river from Stockton to Newcastle.

I just liked the layers, with the boat in the foreground, then the wharf, next the mixture of old buildings and new, topped off with the cathedral towering over the city.
